Bob Locke, Massachusetts: 14 Rue Herbert, Quebec, Canada
Meyer Domiron 2/50mm No 2674956 on Varex IIa Version 2 No 910384
Exposed on Fuji 200 with blue filter

Bob writes: A grey-blue study with an ancient mortar-brick wall and the accent of flowers, the open window awaits a day promised hot. The curtain was blowing in the wind. It was the summer of record high temperatures in Quebec. I pass this house frequently, in the old town, up in the heights. The city is from seventeenth-century France, many tiny streets with no vehicle parking. A highly-developed urban site before permanent English New World settlements had matured. My 98-year-old mothr-in-law liked this photo so much, she painted it in oils. I have it over my desk as I write this, her painting alongside an enlargement of my photo.
