Hugo is a member of the Exakta Circle. He is an authority on the history
of Ihagee. His text is in English, but he will accept e-mails in
English, Danish, Dutch and French (see his site for

Originally founded as a
memorial to Johan Steenbergen's elder brother Hermann Diderich, the
Foundation operates a website which gives a lengthy biography of Johan
himself. The English text is reached through the link "Biography
Johan Steenbergen" in a box on the first page.
A very clear and clean site with a lot of detail about Ihagee and its
Exakta products. The next link now goes to a page on this site
Many pictures in colour of people and cameras at the very successful
International Exakta Meeting in Leiden in November 2006. Text, what little there is of it,

An important section of this site is devoted to Exakta, and includes
a very fine set of images of Kines and Varexes, together with much useful information and
(yet another) classification system.
